Abstract
Dr Lisa Leffert, coauthor of the 2025 ASRA Guidelines for Regional Anesthesia in the Patient Receiving Antithrombotic Therapy, and Dr. Angela Selzer, regional anesthesiologist will summarize, in a case-based format, key highlights from the new ASRA guidelines. The speakers will focus on explaining how to incorporate the ASRA guidelines into an evidence-based practice of perioperative DOAC management at your institution. Key differences between the ASRA and CHEST guidelines will be explained in the context of high-impact evidence and the recently published PAUSE-II trial.
